Dolloway

We were commissioned privately to make an ornate glass sign for the clients house. The brief was to create a sign that celebrated the family of the client.

We hand drew the design for this Dolloway sign and we fell it gave a nod to turn of the century advertising signs. We decided to use glass art techniques that would have been synonymous of this time. From hand scallop edging the glass and using both oil and water gilding techniques to get the best out of the 23ct gold leaf.
